The most popular dish on the menu is certainly the steamed lobster. The menu item called "The Downeast Lobster Experience" is a favorite. It's described as, "The Whole Experience! A Half Ladle of New England Clam Chowder, 1 1/4 Pound Steamed Maine Lobster, Local Mussels, Buttered Sweet Corn and Potatoes with Home-Made Blueberry Pie."

Second to the lobster would be the other local seafood such as shrimp and clams. Stewman's Lobster Pound also serves a dish called "Land and Sea" which is a flame grilled NY strip steak, kettle steamed Maine lobster, hand-cut frites, and grilled asparagus. Treat yourself while you're in Maine!

Fabulous place for lunch

My BFF and I had an outstanding lunch here. The place was so busy we couldn't get a harbor view but the food and service made up for it. Our server was Julia and she was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us. We started with margaritas. The jalapeño Margarita was awesome; not too hot but just enough of a bite to make you happy. We shared the shrimp basket (get the remoulade sauce) and then got the lobster Cobb salad and fish and chips which we shared. The salad was fresh and delicious as was the haddock fish and chips. Would highly recommend. We were too full to try the blueberry or whoopie pie but may come back later to do so

A WELCOMED RETURN

My wife and I had been to Stewman's a few years ago for an on deck dinner and were looking forward to repeating the experience on a return visit to Bar Harbor. It was a cool September day but the set up in the restaurant gave us the feel of being outside. Stewman's followed all COVID protocol and we had an excellent lobster roll with sides.We will enjoy a meal here again on our next visit to Acadia.-Steven L., Google Review
